We all know that we have to do much more to respond to the cries for justice of women and children who suffered violence. We have to do much more to end these horrible abuses and impunity that allows these human rights violations to continue and for whole village development.

Ujwala is an organization started by a group of committed volunteers for the welfare of deprived women and children in slums and rural areas in the November 1993. It is non government, non profitable and non religious organization registered under Karnataka society registration act 1960, and registered with the ministry of home affairs, Government of India, under the foreign contribution regulation act.

Starts service for women and children. Initially many volunteers invested their precious time with us, later on many like minded agencies, donors, networks supported to walk in our path, till now all developmental thinkers are walking with us to built a healthy society.In 23 years organization did many activities in Bijapur, Bagalkot, Koppal And Gadag district at Karnataka. Organization is very much passionate and committed for developmental activities.
